[Phi knew something was up well before she even opened her eyes to find herself within Luceti's forest. She could just tell by something in the air, and even the grass on which she laid, that wherever she was was a completely different place than she remembered being in. Of course, the room she had just been in -- the B. Garden -- was filled with loads of plants, but... it still wasn't quite real or authentic, whereas wherever she was now was. Even so, however, she made sure to keep her cool after getting up. ...And after realizing that she wasn't even wearing her clothes... This dress definitely isn't hers, and she definitely doesn't remember ever changing into it. Did someone seriously...

...whatever! For now, she decided to figure out what was going on first. Or try to, anyway. So once she discovers her journal resting beside her, she takes a look inside of it, skimming the guide within it to just get a general sense as to where she was. It... hardly made sense, really, but then again, the events occurring in the facility she had just been in were pretty weird too. So who knows.

Regardless, after poking at the information for a while, she decides to make use of that neat communication feature (what kind of weird technology even is this...) and throw up a video entry.]

Hey, so... Luceti, right? That's the name of a restaurant in California, you know. It's got a pretty stupid-looking website if you ask me, but... that's not important.

Anyway, I just got here a little while ago. So I'm what you guys would call a new feather, I guess. I already skimmed some of the information in the journal's guide, so nobody really needs to explain that stuff to me. I do have a question though. There's a village around here, right? Could anyone tell me how to get there? I'm in some forest.

[Later that day, when Phi finally makes it over to the village, she can be found around the plaza. She heads straight over to the clothing store to find her clothes, and after then, she takes a look around the item shop. She's missing something very important to her, you see. So she wants to find it, yep.

But yes. She'll go ahead and tentatively stick an arm out in the cat's direction.]

[ Cecil scoots forward to sit close by her so she can pet him.

But you're a cat...! As far as Phi can tell, anyway. But he seems friendly enough, so she'll go ahead and pet his head a bit. Hmmm.]

He sees the journal and circles around her, pawing at it. He had caught the end of her shpeal on the journals, and figured that he may as well. hm hm ]

[Yes. petpetpet. She watches as he paws at the journal and tilts her head a bit.]

What, do you want to listen to it? I doubt you can understand it, but... [..who knows. This place seems weird enough, judging by the guide. She'll go ahead and press the play button, then...?!]

[ He sits down and listens patiently.

Oh, you are looking for the village...!

When it's over, he scampers to the edge of the brush he just emerged from and sits there, staring and waiting for her. mrow ]

[Phi just continues watching him as he listens to the recording, and then as he runs off and sits there. ...Uhhh.]

You want me to follow you?

[...Is she seriously about to rely on following a cat to the village...]

[ His ear twitches. Yes.

And with that, he dashes into the brush. C'mon son we don't got all day! ]

I'll take that as a yes.

[Okay, okay...! Initially hesitating for just a brief moment, Phi goes ahead and follows Cecil, then!]

[ Good!

He trots along just fast enough for a human to follow behind at a fast walk. He'll slow down once in a while to turn around and make sure she's still behind him. ]

[And she'll just continue following him along! Also being sure to take in her surroundings in an attempt to familiarize with the forest, but... it's all trees... squint...

Each time Cecil looks back, she'll also give him a short wave as if to say, "I'm still here!" and whatnot.]

[ It's not before long when they break through the forest and pass by some buildings and into the main plaza. Cecil will hop up onto a nearby bench and gaze up at her. I found the village for you, friend! :D ]

[Oh. Huh. They're actually here.]

I wasn't really expecting you to be able to bring me here, but... huh. Looks like you did. Uh... Thanks. [Good... boy? Cat? squint]

[ You're most welcome! I am so glad I could help! His tail waves a little back and forth. ]

[Oh kitty. It's kinda cute, she has to admit...]

Alright, so... You have any idea where I could find clothes that aren't for the summer, then?

[ Ah, so she still needs help.

He glances back at the row of stores. Well, one of those is the clothing store.

After hopping off the bench, he trots a few steps in that direction before stopping and glancing back at her. Follow me, child. ]

[She does! Which is why she'll just follow him along as he scampers off, this time less hesitant since he does seem like he knows where he's going!]
